Federal Police forces overthrew a gang consisting of 4 people of foreign nationalities, specialized in kidnapping foreigners in Baghdad. The Federal leadership stated in a statement that: 'Following the receipt of intelligence information about foreign residents being kidnapped, a security team was formed to investigate, and after collecting information and expanding the search circle, the four members of the gang, who are of foreign nationalities, were arrested in Al-Shaab area in Baghdad.' It added: 'The force executing the duty freed two kidnapped persons who were in the grip of the gang, and the accused were referred to the competent authorities to take legal measures against them.'
