Gaza city: Several Palestinian civilians have been killed and wounded since Wednesday morning in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, six Palestinians were killed and others were wounded in the Israeli shelling of the Al-Falah School, which houses displaced persons in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, one civilian was killed and others were wounded as Israeli fighter jets targeted the Al-Nafaq area, northeast of Gaza City. Two more people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
Numerous casualties were reported when an Israeli drone struck a gathering of people in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City. The camp has witnessed violent and continuous shelling for about a week, leaving dozens dead and wounded.
In central Gaza, two people were killed and six others were wounded when the Israeli army shelled a house in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Another civilian was shot dead while waiting for aid near a distribution center in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources announced the deaths of 23 Palestinians by Israeli occupation forces since dawn today, including 19 in Gaza City.
