Gaza city: A Palestinian youth was killed and his brother injured on Friday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, local sources reported.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, eyewitnesses stated that Israeli troops stationed east of Gaza City opened fire on Mahmoud Suleiman Al-Wadiya, resulting in his death and the injury of his brother.
The incident comes amid repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which had been in place since October 10, 2025. Despite the truce, Israeli forces have carried out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and shootings that have killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including women and children.
