Post: Israeli Colonists Block Palestinian Shepherds from Grazing Lands Near Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Israeli colonists on Friday morning prevented Palestinian shepherds from reaching their grazing lands in the Khan Al-Ahmar area, east of occupied Jerusalem, according to local rights groups.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Al-Baydar Human Rights Organization reported that groups of colonists blocked the path of several shepherds, stopping them from accessing the pastures they rely on for raising their livestock. The organization highlighted that these actions are part of a series of measures aimed at pressuring Bedouin communities around Jerusalem, with the intent of forcing residents to abandon their lands under daily harassment.

Rights groups have called on international and human rights organizations to intervene urgently to halt these repeated violations. They emphasize the need to ensure that shepherds can move freely and carry out their work safely on their lands.
