The Senate on Tuesday offered financial support worth JD35,000 to the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The support, which comes through the Social Responsibility Fund, established by the Senate from the personal allocations of senators to promote the principles of social security, voluntary work, and social solidarity, was made on behalf of the Senate by members of the Fund, including its secretary, Issa Murad, Mustafa Hamarneh, and Fadel Hmoud. The senators expressed their thanks and appreciation to Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, and to all medical, nursing and administrative staff for their blessed efforts over the past years to make this medical edifice the pinnacle of medical centers for cancer treatment in the world. They commended KHCC's efforts as a prestigious medical edifice at the level of the Middle East and the world as a result of the care and attention it receives, and the expertise of all its h ighly trained and experienced staff, who are dedicated to providing compassionate care to every patient with the smallest details and medical efficiency, which reflected significantly and positively on the patients' psychology, which rose to great limits in accepting the disease and approaching treatment with compassion, which contributed to the high numbers of patients who recovered from cancer after undergoing successful operations and treatment programs in this prestigious medical edifice.
