Baghdad, The security forces arrested today, Tuesday, a number of accused and wanted persons in Dhi Qar, Baghdad, and Karbala. The Ministry of Interior explained in a statement, 'Detachments of the Third Regiment of the Seventh Brigade of the Energy Police, in coordination with the Brigade Intelligence Division in Dhi Qar Governorate, were able to arrest an accused and seized his pickup truck containing 10 plastic barrels with a capacity of (240) liters filled with an unknown quality petroleum product without official papers. The statement added, "The Fifth Brigade of the Rapid Response Division Command in the Ministry of Interior was able to arrest two wanted persons in the capital, Baghdad, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission and in coordination with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department." It explained that the First Regiment in the Fifth Brigade, in cooperation with the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Directorate in Karbala, arrested 3 wanted persons in accordance wit h the provisions of Article 28 of drugs in Al-Khairat district.
