Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naeem Al-Ghazi, discussed with a delegation from the Chinese company "China State" its capabilities in infrastructure and electric power projects in Iraq, and the road project linking the center of Nasiriyah city and Nasiriyah International Airport, which has reached the stage of equipping equipment according to approved international specifications. Al-Ghazi stressed during the meeting that the government seeks to enhance cooperation with leading international companies such as "China State" to implement strategic projects that support the government's direction in the fields of infrastructure development in various governorates, noting that the Chinese company is a key partner in this field, especially in the energy and roads sectors, adding that the government pays special attention to supporting projects of an investment nature, and that the company will be part of these initiatives, especially in the housing and medical cities sectors. For his part, the company's general manager expressed his thanks to the Iraqi government for its continuous support, stressing the commitment to implementing projects according to the highest international standards, including the airport project according to the specified timetables.
