Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces carried out, at dawn on Monday, security operations in areas south of Baghdad. The command stated in a statement: 'The units of the (17th) Infantry Division and the units attached to it, with the support of intelligence agencies and services, began at dawn today, Monday, to carry out security operations for regional search and inspection and armed reconnaissance in a number of areas south of Baghdad. Baghdad Operations Command confirmed that it is continuing to take the necessary measures to enhance security and stability and impose the rule of law to preserve the security achievement achieved and prevent anyone who dares to tamper with the security and safety of citizens.
