Hebron: Israeli colonists cut down on Wednesday more than 200 fruit-bearing olive and almond trees in the town of ad-Dhahiriya in the southern West Bank. WAFA correspondent reported that armed colonists destroyed the trees in the Al-Shuwayka area near the town, which belong to Palestinian farmer Ahmed Othman al-Samamra.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the attack comes a day after colonists stormed homes in the same area, assaulting al-Samamra and his son Youssef with clubs and rifle butts, causing serious injuries before both were later detained by Israeli forces.
