The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that its forces thwarted attacks launched by the Ukrainian army on Russian territory using ballistic missiles, rocket-propelled grenades, drones and balloons. Russian Defense said in a statement that air defense systems destroyed two missiles, 19 shells from rocket launchers, 16 drones, and two small balloons over the territory of Belgorod Province last night. Additionally, Russian air defenses shot down three drones over the territory of the Rostov Oblast, intercepted one drone and destroyed three small balloons over the Voronezh Oblast. Belgorod Region's Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that two people, a man and a woman, were injured as a result of the Ukrainian attacks on the district last night. Governor of Voronezh Alexander Gusev said that falling debris from the drone caused damage to a number of private homes, while a woman was injured in moderate severity. Source: Qatar News Agency
