The Royal Hashemite Documentation Center (RHDC) has unveiled a unique archival document detailing the inaugural agricultural and industrial exhibition in Jordan. This event is recognized as one of the pioneering introductions of industrial and agricultural exhibitions to the Kingdom and played a crucial role in establishing this tradition. In a statement issued Thursday, the RHDC elaborated that the document features an advertisement for the exhibition, which was published in the August 12, 1952, issue of Al-Jazeera newspaper. The exhibition, organized by the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Industry on behalf of the Jordanian chambers of Commerce, was scheduled to take place at the Islamic Educational College building in Amman from September 6 to 21, 1952. The advertisement also encouraged farm and factory owners to participate and showcase their products. Source: Jordan News Agency
