SANA'A - SABA: The Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, and his deputy, Adel Saleh Bader, reviewed on Saturday, the progress of work at the National Control Center for Monitoring and Control of the Electrical System in the Republic in the Aser area of the capital, Sana'a. The Minister and his deputy listened from the Director of the Center, Engineer Abdul Basit Shamsan, to an explanation of the level of work and the mechanism for controlling the national electrical system through the SCADA system and the difficulties facing the center and ways to address them. Engineer Shamsan pointed out that the center, which was established in 1993, is concerned with controlling the electrical system in the Republic on the basis of controlling information, circuit breakers and electrical supply in transformer stations.
