The First Regiment of the Fourth Brigade of the Rapid Response Division Command was able to arrest a terrorist accused in Maysan. A statement from the division stated: "The accused is wanted according to the provisions of Article (1/4) of the Iraqi Penal Code and an unlicensed light weapon was seized in his possession." The statement added: "The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Directorate of Intelligence and Anti-Terrorism in the governorate and the Falcons Intelligence Cell, and in cooperation with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department, indicating that the wanted person and the seized items were handed over to the requesting party in accordance with the law."
