Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 113.33 points, or 1.22%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 9,432 points, compared to yesterday's closing. The general index was supported by a rise in most sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 3.89%; Transportation by 1.81%; Real Estate by 1%; Industrials by 0.81%; Telecoms by 0.80%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.74%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Insurance by 1.50%. At 10:00 am, 29.727 million shares were traded in 3,210 transactions valued QR 84.676 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
