Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged lower by 0.05% at the start of trading on Monday, losing 4.87 points, down to the level of 10,407 points, compared to Sunday's closing. The index was weighed dawn by a decline in Banks and Financial Services by 0.22%, and Transportation by 0.67%. However, the index saw a rise in other sectors: Telecoms by 1.34%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.93%; Real Estate by 0.90%; Insurance by 0.06%; and Industrials by 0.03%. By 10:00 am, 55.863 million shares were traded in 3,078 transactions valued QR 86.831 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
