The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) 53rd Executive Board Meeting kicked off in Moscow on Sunday. HE Director General of Qatar News Agency , Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi, chaired the QNA delegation to the EBM. Attended by OANA Executive Board and Technical Committee, the EBM focused on the future of the organization and the impact of artificial intelligence on the media. The agenda included approving the minutes of the 52nd OANA EBM held on March 7 in Tokyo. The Board discussed a report on the decisions taken during the 52nd meeting, which included holding photo and best article competitions. The meeting discussed the organization's financial report and approved the nomination of the Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) to host the next EBM. OANA covers two-thirds of the world's population and includes 43 members from 35 countries in Asia and Oceania. Source: Qatar News Agency
