Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Wednesday's trading to 10,170 points, an increase of 0.05%, adding 4.95 points, compared to the closing of yesterday'a session. Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed positive performance for the Consumer Goods and Services sector by 0.50%, the Real Estate sector by 0.20%, the Transportation sector by 0.07%, and both the Industrial and Banking and Financial Services sectors by 0.04% each. Meanwhile, the Telecom sector remained stable by 0.00%. On the other hand, the Insurance sector experienced a negative performance, decreasing by 0.43%. At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,577 transactions worth QR 70.763 million, distributed over 17.950 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
