Doha: Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has announced the issuance of a special postage stamp in collaboration with Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the academy's establishment. This stamp serves as a testament to the academy's significance and prominent role in military sciences, including defense, strategy, administration, and security aspects. The release includes a set of four stamps representing the logo of Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies, the logos of the National Defense College and the Joint Command and Staff College, and the academy building. A total of 5,000 souvenir cards are also being issued, with the complete set priced at QAR 20, and individual souvenir cards at QAR 10. The stamps are designed to reflect aspects of the academy's history and achievements in defense studies, using colors and shapes inspired by the academy's logo. Philatelic collectors and souvenir card enthusiasts can obtain the new stamp from the phi latelic service Office at the General post office. Source: Qatar News Agency
