Prime Minister Urges UN to Intervene in Gaza Conflict to Prevent Genocide.

Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa has urged the United Nations to take a more active role in halting the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip, amidst growing concerns over famine and collective punishment affecting two million Palestinians. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Prime Minister's appeal came during a meeting with Sigrid Kaag, the Chief Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs and Reconstruction in Gaza. The meeting, held in Ramallah, also included Minister of State for Relief Affairs Basil Nasser. Mustafa emphasized the need for increased international pressure to hold Israel accountable for its actions. Mustafa expressed the widespread dissatisfaction among Palestinians regarding the international community's inability to stop what he described as the "Israeli war machine." He argued that mere statements and condemnations are insufficient to address the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Furthermore, Mustafa highlighted the necessity of a strong international s tance against the escalating attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, to preserve the two-state solution and counteract plans for Judaization, annexation, and displacement.
