He added during an interview with Palestine TV that the current situation and the ongoing financial crisis have increased the number of unemployed by about half a million. He added that we have overcome the peak of the financial crisis thanks to the efforts made by President Mahmoud Abbas and the government, and that there is a European support program for the public treasury that will be announced soon, and that the government is working to gradually get out of the difficult financial crisis, and we will witness an improvement in the coming months, and the government will work to increase the Palestinian economy's self-reliance to a greater extent. He stressed that the government is working in partnership with al l private sectors and civil society, and that partners in international and donor institutions are playing their role in serving our people, and we are working to enhance that.
