Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian discussed in a phone call on Sunday with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron the latest regional developments, especially the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) said that Pezeshkian stressed during the call that Iran supports any proposal aimed at calming, peace, and stability in the region, calling on the French President to make efforts with the participation of other European leaders to compel the Israeli entity to stop the crimes of genocide and massacres in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. For his part, the French President called on his Iranian counterpart to "support a comprehensive calm" in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Source: Qatar News Agency
