His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met on Tuesday with the Chairman of the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in the Capital Municipality, Dr. Muhammad Taher Jahaf. During the meeting, they discussed the situation at the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in Sana'a, after the announcement of free medical services provided by the Authority to the poor and needy, last September by His Excellency to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy due to the difficult and exceptional conditions that the country is going through. The meeting reviewed the Authority's plans and programs for its various medical departments, in the context of improving health and treatment services provided to patients, and its activity in enhancing the level of health performance during the current stage. The meeting touched on aspects related to completing the arrangements for the implementation of the second phase of free medical services in the oncology centers, Al-Sa baeen Hospital, and the kidney and heart centers in the Al-Thawra Hospital Authority. In the meeting, President Al-Mashat stressed the keenness to continue supporting the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority to provide medical services to the poor, needy, and the poorest families, in a way that contributes to alleviating their suffering in light of the current conditions that the country is going through as a result of the aggression and blockade. His Excellency President Al-Mashat praised the efforts made by the hospital's medical and administrative staff and the services they provide, stressing that more efforts and attention are made to develop and facilitate services for patients.
