Gaza: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society warned of a complete halt to health services at Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip due to the lack of spare parts and oils for electric generators. The society called in a statement on Sunday evening on all partners and international organizations to exert pressure to oblige Israel to bring in new power generators to the Gaza Strip, and to provide the society with the oils and spare parts it needs, so that it can continue providing its health and humanitarian services. It stressed that the halt of the work of electric generators will lead to the halt of surgical operations, life-saving devices and health services, and will further deteriorate the health system in the Gaza Strip.
