Palestinian Youth Injured by Israeli Forces’ Fire North of Occupied Jerusalem

Al-ram: A young Palestinian man was injured by Israeli forces' live fire on Monday evening in the town of al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews attended to the injury of the 30-year-old man, who was shot in the leg near the separation wall in al-Ram, and subsequently transferred him to the hospital.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources indicated that Israeli forces chased several workers near the apartheid wall and opened fire at them, resulting in the injury of one individual. Since the beginning of this year, 15 workers have been killed by Israeli occupation forces' fire during chases inside the 1948 territories, or after falling from the separation wall, based on data from the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions.

In recent months, hundreds of workers have faced detentions and abuse by Israeli police under the pretext of lacking entry permits. Since October 2023, the federation has documented the killing of 42 workers and the detention of more than 32,000 others.
