Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed: 'It is our responsibility as a federal government to take care of the employee and the citizen, whether in the region or in other governorates.' Al-Sudani said, in televised statements from the government palace following the State Administration Coalition meeting, that 'one of the issues that concerns our people in the Kurdistan region is the payment of salaries to civilian and security employees, the families of martyrs, and social care.' He added, "In light of the Federal Court's decision, the Ministry of Finance began communicating with the Ministry of Finance in the region to complete the procedures that precede the resettlement process," noting that "the Federal Court stressed the importance of allowing room to complete the resettlement process procedures." He continued, "We took the initiative to disburse salaries in light of the official lists of employees from all ministries, and the categories that were mentioned and audited by the Federa l Financial Supervision Offices and in the region, as the months of February and March were in which full salaries were disbursed to the Kurdistan region, and we are keen on the continuity of disbursement work in a manner that does not conflict with the decision of the Federal Court." He explained, "Other files were also subject to discussions, including the resumption of oil exports and the required amendments to the budget law. There were also dialogues with political forces and a meeting of the state administration coalition in which the President of the Kurdistan Region was hosted." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
