Petra: The Irish Times classified the Rose City of Petra as the third best destination for tourists to visit during 2024. The Irish newspaper, which was founded in 1859, said : "It's almost a slight to the majesty of Petra - the ancient Nabataean city carved from rose-tinted rock - to consider elevating the experience. Except the idea of a one-off immersive dance festival on its grounds sounds too intriguing." Petra ranked third in the newspaper's classification, after the French capital, Paris, which topped the list, while Colorado in the United States ranked 2nd and the Italian city of Sardinia occupied the fourth place, according to a report published by The Irish Times on Sunday. The newspaper spoke about the key activities and events held in Petra, primarily music concerts and the light festival, noting that these activities are in line with the city's culture and history, taking into account its privacy and high positive energy. The newspaper noted pulse in Petra "promises to create a mind-blowing p roduction aligned with the culture, history, and geo elements of the place. As far as experiential festivals go, it's one with maximum bragging rights." Additionally, the newspaper encouraged people wishing to visit Petra to take advantage of the offers provided by Ryanair, Turkish Airlines, and British Airways, which continue their flights from Dublin to Amman.
