Pause in Hebron to demand the recovery of the bodies of the martyrs

A mass protest was organized in Hebron today, Tuesday, to demand the recovery of the bodies of the martyrs and martyrs of the captive movement, with the participation of the families of the martyrs and prisoners.

The participants in the protest chanted slogans demanding the release of all bodies and the identification of the missing. During the protest, they raised the Palestinian flag and banners with slogans written on them demanding the recovery of the bodies of all martyrs, especially those held in refrigerators and the occupation’s cemeteries.

Director of the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, Ibrahim Najajra, denounced the practices of the occupation, which has been detaining the bodies of martyrs for 56 years, to punish their families and steal their organs. He said, “The crime of detaining the bodies of martyrs is added to the series of crimes of the occupation against humanity and the right of our people,” calling on all international, legal and humanitarian institutions to stand with them. The Palestinian people and defending their rights.

The coordinator of the national campaign to recover the bodies of the martyrs in Hebron, Amin Al-Bayed, called on our people to increase interaction and rally around the families of the martyrs and prisoners until the bodies are recovered and their funeral is carried out in a manner befitting human dignity and the dignity of the heroic martyrs, explaining that this is an international crime and a violation of all divine laws and laws.

The official spokesman for the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, Amjad Al-Najjar, explained that the protest comes in line with the title of the international conference of the European Coalition, which will be “Recovering the Bodies of the Martyrs,” and will be attended by a number of families of the martyrs, and this detention is rejected by all international, human rights and humanitarian laws.

He noted that the number of bodies kept in the occupation cemeteries and morgues is 298 martyrs, including 45 from the Hebron Governorate, where the occupation authorities bury them under inappropriate conditions, in addition to the fact that many of the families of the martyrs do not know anything about the fate of their children
