BETHLEHEM: A Palestinian youth was Tuesday killed by Israeli occupation forces west of Bethlehem. Security sources reported to WAFA that a young man was killed by occupation forces at the tunnels checkpoint northwest of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem, on the pretext that he allegedly carried out a stabbing operation near the checkpoint. A few hours later, the Israeli General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health that the youth was identified to be Mohammad Rizq Ibrahim Hamash. The sources added that the occupation forces closed the southern entrance to the town of Al-Khader "Al-Nashash" with an iron gate and prevented movement between the governorates of Hebron and Bethlehem.
