JERICHO: A Palestinian was wounded this evening after being attacked by Israeli colonists in the Ras Ein al 'Auja area north of Jericho city, according to a local official. General-Supervisor of al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, Hassan Mleihat, told WAFA that colonists severely beat up a Palestinian resident in the Bedouin community of Ras Ein al 'Auja, causing him various injuries which necessitated his transfer to hospital for medical treatment. Settlers' violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023. The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians, including the destruction of homes and properties, has been widely condemned. Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
