Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani discussed in a phone call on Tuesday with Jordanian King Abdullah II the situation and rapid developments in the region, as well as the repercussions of the continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Gaza. They emphasized the need to expand international and global efforts and urged international organizations and major powers to exert maximum efforts to stop the aggression. They also condemned the Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon and agreed on bilateral coordination between them to deliver urgent humanitarian aid and support to the peoples of Lebanon and Palestine. The two sides stressed the need for an immediate end to the Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon and intensified efforts to reach a comprehensive calm in the region and avoid the crisis that could lead to an open war.
