HEBRON: A Palestinian was injured on Sunday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near the separation barrier west of Hebron, according to security sources. The sources reported that Israeli forces stationed at the gates of the barrier, which cuts through citizens' land near the town of Beit Awwa, opened fire on Palestinian civilians, wounding a young man in the foot. He was taken to the hospital, where his condition was described as moderate. The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their assaults on citizens near the separation wall, where three Palestinians have been injured by Israeli gunfire over the past two days.
