RAMALLAH: The official media condemned on Thursday the Israeli detention of Palestine TV correspondent Ali Dar Ali after the Israeli occupation forces stored his home in the village of Burham, northwest of Ramallah. The official media confirmed in a press release that the detention and abuse of journalists will not deter the official media cadres from performing their duty towards Palestinian people and their just cause, and exposing the Israeli practices and crimes. It pointed out that Ali Dar Ali's detention comes within the framework of the Israeli targeting of the Palestinian media in general and the official media in particular, with the aim of concealing the truth and terrorizing journalists, especially in light of the comprehensive aggression it is waging against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. The official media called on the International Federation of Journalists to provide protection for journalists, especially in light of the difficult circumstances experienced by the Palestinian people as a result of the ongoing aggression, so that they can convey the truth and expose the occupation and its crimes to the entire world.
