The overall pass rate of the 2024 summer session of the Shamel exam, the annual comprehensive final exam for community college students, reached 62.9%, Al Balqa Applied University President, Ahmed Ajlouni, announced on Wednesday. Ajlouni, who is also the head of the higher committee of the exam, said in a press conference that the pass rate reached 62.9%, which is roughly similar, compared to the pass levels in previous sessions. Ajlouni added that 7,660 students sat the exam with 1 or more papers, of whom 4,830 passed, in 53 university and intermediate university colleges in 105 specializations. Meanwhile, he noted a total of 10 students were absent from the exam entirely and 22 violations were recorded. Source: Jordan News Agency
