Colonists Uproot Olive Saplings Near Ramallah

Ramallah: Israeli colonists cut down approximately 100 olive saplings tonight in the Marj Sa'i plain, located between the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah. Local sources reported that the colonists stormed the Marj Sa'i plain, targeting saplings owned by residents of nearby villages.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists destroyed more than 70 olive saplings belonging to Wadi' Khaled Alqam from the village of Turmus'aya, and another 30 seedlings owned by Yasser Jawdat from the village of Abu Falah. This act of vandalism is part of a pattern of recent attacks on Palestinian property in the region.

Last month, colonists carried out 356 acts of vandalism and theft in Palestinian areas, affecting vast swathes of land. These attacks resulted in the uprooting of 1,068 trees, including 695 olive trees, across the governorates of Hebron, Ramallah, Salfit, Tulkarm, and Nablus.
