The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyad, confirmed the continuation of maintaining victories and contributing to consolidating a state of security stability. Al-Fayyad said in a statement on the anniversary of the liberation of Mosul: 'Today we remember a great occasion marked by the people of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the heroic security forces by liberating Mosul and defeating the ISIS mythical state in heroic battles that aborted the plans of sedition and division hatched by the enemies.' He added: 'At a time when we remember the efforts of the Mujahideen to eliminate terrorists inside Mosul, liberate vast lands, and provide relief to civilians, we affirm the continuation of preserving those victories that were achieved with the blood of the martyrs, the sacrifices of the wounded, and the jihad of the heroic fighters. We renew our pledge to remain an impenetrable barrier against terrorism, and to contribute to consolidating a state of security stability, supporting the government's efforts in the reconstruction and construction campaign, and achieving prosperity for our dear Iraqi people.'
