MUSCAT, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi and his US counterpart Antony Blinken discussed the recent efforts to implement ceasefire in Gaza Strip and stop the escalation in the region. In a statement on Thursday, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two sides discussed in a phone call commitment to the two-state solution, calling on all parties to respect the international law. Blinken expressed his deepest condolences over the death of an Omani policeman and a number of civilians in the shooting that took place near a mosque at Al-Wadi Al-Kabir in the capital Muscat. He affirmed the US support to measures taken by Oman to resolve the issue, noting that his country condemns all forms of terrorism. Source: Kuwait News Agency
