Oil prices fell by more than 1 percent at the close of todays trading, ending at the lowest level in seven weeks. Futures contracts for Brent crude for October delivery decreased by $1.15, or 1.4 percent, settling at $78.63 per barrel. Futures contracts for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil fell by $1.08, or 1.4 percent, closing at $74.73 per barrel.
