JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, reiterated the position of the OIC and its call on the international community to urgently take effective measures to stop all forms of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. During a meeting at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah with Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, UK Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, Commonwealth and the United Nations, Taha discussed developments in Gaza and the issue of Palestine, along with other issues.
