HEBRON: Israeli occupation forces today ransacked the house of a recently-released prisoner in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources. The occupation soldiers barged their way into the town and deployed in the streets leading to the prisoner's house before they muscled inside the house, and destroyed the place set up by the family to welcome people who came to congratulate the prisoner on his release from Israeli custody. The prisoner, identified as Mohammad Hatem Bashir, was released on Thursday after spending 19 months in Israeli custody. Source: Palestine news & Information Agency - WAFA
