Al-bireh: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained at least 10 citizens on Tuesday during a large-scale raid in the city of al-Bireh and the Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, security sources indicated that IOF raided several neighborhoods in al-Bireh, including al-Balou’, the industrial zone, al-Masyoun, Umm al-Sharait, and Jabal al-Tawil. The raids extended to al-Amari refugee camp south of Ramallah, al-Jalazoun refugee camp to the north, and the town of Kafr Ni’ma to the west.
The sources further reported that IOF turned al-Omari Mosque in al-Bireh into a field investigation center and detained several individuals from the city’s neighborhoods. Similarly, in the Jalazoun refugee camp, the IOF detained additional residents.
Additionally, the occupation forces conducted operations in the town of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah, and the vicinity of al-Am’ari refugee camp to the south.
