Doha: May 14 - The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) held a closing ceremony for two field visit projects for the academic year 2023-24, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi and HE President of the NCSA Eng. Abdul Rahman Ali Muhammad Al Farahid Al Maliki attended the ceremony of the "Cyber Echo" and "Cybersecurity Educational Curricula" projects. During the ceremony, Their Excellencies honored 19 distinguished students and 11 distinguished schools nationwide in the CyberEcho project. MoEHE's Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, Omar Abdulaziz Al Naama, hailed the NCSA's role in enhancing cybersecurity across schools with technology dominating various aspects of daily life. He added that cybersecurity has become of great importance, which necessitates teaching cyber security issues in schools to protect students from electronic threats and online bullying.
