The National Security Service in Baghdad seized nearly 100,000 textbooks in violation of regulations. The Service stated in a statement that: "As part of the efforts aimed at pursuing organized crime in all its forms and after receiving accurate intelligence information and obtaining judicial approvals, the National Security Service detachments were able to seize 4 warehouses containing nearly 100,000 textbooks, edition (2024), in violation of regulations and leaked from the (Ministry of Education) in "Al-Shaab Market" east of Baghdad. It explained that the seizure operation took place in coordination with the holding force and the Ministry of Education, while a formal report was opened on the seized items and handed over to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures in this regard.
