Two Palestinians Injured, Three Detained by Israeli Forces During Colonists’ Attack South of Hebron

Hebron: Two Palestinian citizens were injured, and three others were detained on Saturday during an attack by colonists, carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh reported that Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians, including a minor, from Khirbet Huwara in Masafer Yatta. This occurred after colonists attacked residents, assaulting them and using pepper spray. One resident was injured, suffering from bruises and suffocation.

The occupation forces, while protecting the colonists, also assaulted the hamlet, attacking residents and foreign activists by firing stun grenades. They raided a home, causing damage to its contents and assaulted the family, leading to the injury of a woman who sustained bruises.

In a related event, colonists stormed the village of Burin, south of Nablus, on Saturday evening. Local sources reported that a group of colonists raided the outskirts of the village and conducted a provocative tour among citizens' homes.
