The MP for Nineveh Governorate, Abd al-Rahim al-Shammari, called on the people of Rabia district to hold a new demonstration to demand the return of the residents of the villages.
Al-Shammari told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that he invited the people of Rabia district to demonstrate to demand the return of the displaced residents of Arab villages who are prevented from returning to them because of the control of security forces affiliated with the Kurdistan region.
Al-Shammari confirmed that "the demonstration will start soon in the Rabia district, calling on the people to participate in it, noting that" the purpose of this demonstration is to defend the rights of the displaced from the Arab villages in the Rabia district, who were forcibly displaced by the forces of the Kurdistan region.
