Mosul - The Municipality of Mosul has begun implementing a campaign to remove dozens of electoral advertisements and banners for candidates due to violating the instructions and controls of the independent high electoral Commission.
The director of Mosul Municipality, Abdul Sattar al-Habou, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency that, “The campaign included many areas in Mosul and included removing banners that violated the conditions and controls issued by the Commission regarding electoral propaganda.”
Pointing out that "the Mosul Municipality had previously warned against removing all electoral advertisements and banners that violate the instructions and controls set by the Commission"
