Minister of Interior stresses the need to address false and extremist ideas by adopting a professional approach

Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari stressed, today, Tuesday, the necessity of addressing wrong and extremist ideas by adopting a professional approach. A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that under the patronage and attendance of Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, the Research and Studies Center at the Police College held its first annual scientific conference under the slogan (Intellectual Immunization from Societal Deviations and Ways to Address Them), today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Police College, in the presence of a number of university presidents, deans of colleges and an elite of leaders and officers. The Minister stressed in his speech, seeking to consolidate the foundations of advancing the reality of the institutions of the Ministry of Interior at all scientific, intellectual, legal and societal levels and setting a work program, which is considered part of the government reform, and at the forefront of its priorities is to raise the performance of the pr ofessional level of officers and affiliates in the Ministry of Interior. Al-Shammari stressed, according to the statement, on intellectual fortification by reviewing scientific and training curricula and laying the correct foundations for them, noting that the Ministry of Interior is proceeding with this issue and that study channels have been opened in cooperation with ministries and scientific institutions. The Minister explained the importance of building society and benefiting from studies and research provided by solid scientific institutions in this regard, stressing the need to address false and extremist ideas, noting that the Ministry of Interior is proceeding in the right steps in this field by adopting a professional approach.
