HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani visited the 2024 Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, upon an invitation from the Saudi Ministry of Culture. Accompanied by Saudi Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Al Tawq, His Excellency was briefed on the multiple works of art displayed across the second edition of the biennale. This edition, themed After Rain, showcases and celebrates Saudi Arabias contemporary art scene in dialogue with global artists. The event that kicked off Feb. 20 and runs through May 24 features artworks ranging from music to movies and visual arts as well as workshops, cultural seminars, and interactive artworks.
