Manchester Airport issued on Sunday a warning to passengers amid a major power cut which caused widespread disruptions in flight schedules. The airport, which is considered one of the busiest in the UK, explained in a statement that power cut in Terminal 1 and 2 affected security and baggage systems. After cancellation of more than 10 international flights and re-routes of the domestic flights, the airport was filled with people, and further flights are expected to be cancelled, the statement added. The airport affirmed that the travelers in the airport are the top priority at the moment. Source: Kuwait News Agency
