Mahweet province officials inspected on Sunday the progress of a retaining wall repair project at the central market. The wall was damaged by recent rains. Eng. Mukhtar al-Turki, representing the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, and Dahan al-Mukaibisi, Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, reviewed the project's 55% completion rate. The 23.3 million YER project is funded by the Ministry of Finance and implemented by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit. Al-Turki emphasized the importance of adhering to technical standards to ensure the wall's longevity. He expressed gratitude for the province's support in facilitating the project.
