Twelve Jordanians were evacuated Wednesday from war-torn Lebanon on a Royal Jordanian Air Force plane that took off from the Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut after delivering humanitarian aid for the Lebanese people. According to a Ministry statement, this was the tenth Jordanian aid aircraft that carried food, relief supplies, medicines, and medical supplies. Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah said Wednesday's evacuation was the fourth evacuation operation as part of a Ministry plan. The plan was designed in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces, the security services, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management to repatriate Jordanians in Lebanon amid an ongoing Israeli war on Lebanon. Qudah added that the total number of citizens evacuated from Lebanon via Royal Air Force aircraft is 102, all registered on the electronic platform for evacuation at the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut. Since August, at least 3,305 Jordanian citizens have arrived in t he Kingdom from Lebanon, he added. Qudah stated that the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut, in coordination with the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), is working with Middle East Airlines to operate flights to the Kingdom and allocate special seats for citizens wishing to return to the Kingdom. He added that the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut is in continuous contact with the Jordanian community, noting that there were no Jordanians reported injured since the start of the Israeli aggression in Lebanon.
